Mushkin 4tb reactor at an affordable price
Mushkin wants to give a new turn to the SSD market with a new device from its Mushkin Reactor family with a capacity of 4 TB and a much cheaper price than its rivals.
The 4TB Mushkin Reactor has been achieved by joining two 2TB Reactor models on a single PCB in JBOD, with which the system recognizes the device as a single unit.
Inside are 15nm Toshiba 15-meter 3D NAND technology and a Silicon Motion SM2246EN controller, a combination capable of delivering maximum sequential read and write rates of 560 MB / s and 460 MB / s respectively.
The new 4 TB Mushkin Reactor will hit the market during the second quarter of the year at a price of approximately $ 500.
