Netflix ends user feedback

Netflix has signaled its intention to remove user feedback from the platform, a new move that comes after the five-star rating system was removed early last year.

Netflix will not allow you to comment on the content of the platform from July 30

Netflix plans to stop accepting comments starting July 30, although all of them will still be readable until mid-August, when they will be removed. Netflix has notified its users of this new measure with an email, the company claims that the measure has been taken due to the decreasing use of this review system. Something that is hard to believe, since even the least popular content has hundreds of comments.

This will end one of the great attractions of Netflix, the possibility of rating the content and making users have an idea of each of the series or movies before watching them. Netflix invests billions of dollars in the creation of original content, so the company may not want to enable a public forum to belittle this content that costs so much money to create. This could be a measure to fight trolls, although it must be recognized that knowing the opinion of users can be very important for Netflix in order to develop new content.

Surely this measure does not go unnoticed by the community, more after announcing the creation of a new monthly plan of 17 euros to be able to view content in 4K and HDR, and that is that prices have been rising since the arrival of the platform.
