Since yesterday on Google Play the application has landed: Netflix VR. This application is available on the Play Store, and it looks great. However, Google isn't making too much effort to bring content to the new Daydream virtual reality platform, as content is limited to 360-degree games and videos. But there are those who try to change things, such as these types of apps like Netflix VR.
Following in the footsteps of HBO and Hulu, Netflix VR is now a reality for subscribers and having Daydream on their smartphones. Although the app is on Google Play, at the moment it is not available for download in Spain. It is only at certain points on the map, such as the United States.

Although the name is Netflix VR, at the moment it is rather Netflix on Android TV. What we have is a virtual screen and a more elegant environment to watch the shows in style. All content is currently accessible. But you will have to wait to enjoy it to the fullest.
What do we know about Netflix VR news?
If we take a look at the Play Store, there is little comment from the boys in the description of the new app. They tell us that we will be able to continue enjoying TV series, movies, documentaries… and see everything we want and where we want. They make no mention of virtual reality, and it's something we miss. But surely we have more data in the next update. Remember that this app has only been in the Play Store for 1 day, it is not even available in Spain to download. It is just a preview of something big to come (we hope so).
Netflix VR is a standalone app. You will be able to watch your Netflix programs or movies on your smartphone with a more conventional interface, although you will need a subscription.
