Nintendo confirms the launch of metroid prime 4 for 2018

Metroid Prime 4 was announced by Nintendo at E3 2017, although at the time the company didn't reveal too many details about the game, nor has it shared any screenshots or videos. However, the information shared by Nintendo with the press only contains the following details:

Metroid Prime 4 will return to the roots of Metroid Prime with a first-person adventure while introducing a new storyline that will connect the events of the Metroid Prime universe and take the story in new directions.

The development of the game is being led by Kensuke Tanabe along with a new development team. According to the game's fact sheet, the team is working hard to bring "action, isolation, and exploration of the Metroid Prime universe to life."

Considering that no release period has been provided, many assumed that the game would come much later, but there is good news about it.

In an interview with VentureBeat , Nintendo of America's chief communications officer Charlie Scibetta revealed that the company has plans to release Metroid Prime and new Pokémon, Kirby and Yoshi games for the Switch console in 2018.
