Nintendo switch with new cpu and 8gb ram seems to be on the way

Strong new rumors are telling us that we would soon see a new Nintendo Switch with updated hardware. These data have come from the own 5.0 update that the console had relatively recently.

Hackers find signs of an improved Nintendo Switch

Based on the latest findings in version 5.0 of the firmware for the Switch, these seem to be indicating that Nintendo is updating the console with new hardware. Some very attentive hackers took a look inside the console firmware 5.0, where they found references to a hardware update for the Switch. Nintendo appears to be working on a new device that would upgrade NVIDIA's Tegra 210 SoC to the new Tegra 214.

The reason the Nintendo Switch could be updated is because there are security issues at the hardware level. New vulnerabilities found in the firmware have allowed 'hacking' to reach the console allowing 'home' software to run. The Tegra 210 chip would be the big culprit for this and Nintendo is unable to face it if it is not with a new SoC chip that closes this security gap.

Nintendo would be taking advantage of the situation to add more RAM on the Nintendo Switch that would double the amount to 8GB. The new hardware update is said to be known as ' Mariko ' in the labs of the Japanese entertainment giant, and we should know more about it very soon.

It seems that Nintendo has stiffened against piracy, which they did not do with their previous consoles.
