Noctua shows prototypes of new heatsinks
Along with its new fans, the firm Noctua has taken advantage of Computex to show the world three prototypes of new CPU coolers, two of them with U-shaped heatpipes and the third with L-shaped heatpipes and a bass radiator. profile.
First, we have a low-profile heatsink that will hit the market to succeed the NH-L12. It is made up of a dense aluminum finned radiator that is crossed by four L-shaped nickel-plated copper heatpipes that are responsible for absorbing the heat generated by the CPU and distributing it over the radiator surface. The set is completed with an NF-A9x14 fan at the top and a second 120mm fan at the bottom of the heatsink. The entire set is 65mm high and includes the Noctua SecuFirm 2 mounting system.
Secondly we have two heatsinks with a traditional tower-shaped design. One of them with a new generation 120mm fan and offering 50% more dissipation area than the Noctua NH-U12S on which its design is based. It has been designed not to interfere with RAM modules.
The other model includes a new generation 140mm fan and is based on the Noctua NH-U14S. Noctua has designed it to not interfere with RAM slots or expansion slots. Both include the Noctua SecuFirm 2 mounting system.
