Unboxing and design

Along with this heatsink we can buy any of these anti-vibration accessory packages that the manufacturer has recently presented. The Noctua NA-SAVP3 chromax are rubber adapters that are placed on the edges of the fan to reduce vibrations and consequently the sound during operation.

They have been introduced alongside the new chromax series of heatsinks, and in this case they come in small thick cardboard boxes that are considerably difficult to open. Each of these boxes has 16 pads, that is, we can cover 8 corners of 2 fans or 4 fans only in one corner. Inside we have absolutely nothing more than the product itself.

They are available in black, white, red, green, blue, and yellow, so we certainly have plenty of choice. Specifically, the Noctua NA-SAVP3 chromax are compatible with the Noctua NH-D15, NF-A15, NF-15 HSPWM heatsinks, among others. Therefore, in addition to eliminating vibrations, it also gives a touch of personalization to the heatsinks. Perhaps a small disadvantage that we have is that each package consists of 16 adapters of the same color, that is, if we want to combine different colors we will have to buy different packages and the cost will rise.

We also have chromax versions compatible with all or most of the manufacturer's fans, with SAVP1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 depending on the fan we are using. Therefore, we must attend to the specifications of each heatsink and check on the official page which adapters will be for our fan in question.

As for design, they are nothing more than flexible rubber covers that are installed in the corners of a fan to avoid vibrations. In fact, the chromax fans already include these covers in black as standard, which we can remove when we want. For fastening, they use a kind of rubber pins to press into holes located in the fan itself, as we see in the screenshots that we provide.

Final words and conclusion about Noctua NA-SAVP3 chromax

One of the advantages that we have in the new Chromax heatsinks from Noctua is that the fans already have anti-vibration adapters, although they are always black. But if we want to give a more personal touch we will have 5 other colors available.

They are rubber adapters, so it will very well eliminate all vibrations in fans installed in chassis and heatsinks. They are also quite easy to install and we have enough for 4 single-sided or 2 double-sided fans.

In addition to SAVP3s, we have variants available for all fan models released by Noctua, it's just a matter of looking at the specs and compatibility of each.

As we have mentioned, a small disadvantage is that if we want to combine colors, we will have to purchase several kits separately. Each of these Noctua NA-SAVP3 chromax and variants for other fans are available at a price of 6.90 euros, which we do not consider too cheap.
