Noctua nt-h2 and nt

Yesterday, Noctua, manufacturer of thermal solutions; launched a new generation of its thermal paste, the NT-H2. Based on its NT-H1, the NT-H2 is a refined and enhanced version with new conductive microparticles for increased performance. In turn, Noctua has launched a new larger size of 10 grams, complementing the usual 3.5 grams, as well as NA-SCW1, a set of 20 cleaning wipes, ideal for removing previous pastes in a clean and quick way.

Temperature under control with NT-H2

Noctua's internal tests clearly show an improvement in thermal performance between the two generations, the greater the larger the CPU and the power of the CPU; getting up to 2ºC improvement in their own tests with various configurations and charge states , so it is seen that the new micro-particles seem to work.

Long duration

Like the NT-H1, the NT-H2 does not need a cure period and Noctua claims that it can be used for up to 5 years in the CPU. Both pastes are non-conductive and non-corrosive, so there is no risk of short circuit and they are safe to use with all types of heatsinks.

Noctua NT-H2 will arrive in the standard 3.5g size and an extra large 10g size including 3 (with the 3.5g one) and 10 (with the 10g one) NA-CW1 wipes for easy cleaning. Pre-moistened with a proprietary cleaning mix, these wipes are ideal for cleaning CPUs, GPUs, and heatsink contact surfaces quickly and efficiently. For enthusiastic users who do frequent disassemblies and heatsink changes, the NA-CW1 wipes are also available separately in a pack of 20 (NA-SCW1)

New format for NT-H1

In addition to the new NT-H2 and NA-SCW1 wipes, Noctua has also introduced a new 10g size for the NT-H1, so far only available in 3.5g. This new 10g pack is quite useful for those of you who frequently change or remove heatsinks or use larger components (the AMD Threadripper (TR4) or Intel LGA3647), who need larger amounts of thermal paste.
