Nokia lumia 525: technical characteristics, availability and price

The Lumia family has a new stem: the Nokia Lumia 525, a low-cost smartphone with balanced features, which is not as ambitious in features as its older brothers. We are talking about a device that is backed by Microsoft and its operating system: Windows Phone 8, and which follows in the wake of the Lumia 520. Its price (as we will see at the end) is within the reach of many consumers, so it is still a good option to give away next Christmas. The Professional Review team details it below:

- Screen: 4-inch LCD with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) with a density of 235 dpi. It also presents IPS technology that gives it a wide viewing angle, we could call it super-sensitive, with a size equivalent to 6 inches Full HD, resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and IPS technology. We can also consider it as super-sensitive, making it possible to use it without problems even wearing gloves.

- Camera: its main objective is made up of 5 megapixels with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, without LED flash but with f / 2.4 aperture, focal length of 28 millimeters and with the applications Nokia Smart Cam, Creative Studio, Glam Me and Cinemagraph. Video recording is done in HD 720p format at 30 fps.

Processor - Features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual Core CPU and an Adreno 305 GPU. Its RAM memory is 1 GB. Its operating system is Windows Phone 8.

- Design: the nokia Lumia 525 has dimensions of 119.9 mm high × 64 mm wide × 9.9 mm thick and weighs 124 grams. The casing is made of polycarbonate, which guarantees durability, gives it a good touch and is also interchangeable: white, black, yellow and orange, with a glossy finish.

- Internal Memory : it is 8 GB, expandable up to 64 GB through microSD cards.

- Connectivity: its connections are very basic in current smartphones such as 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth or GPS.

- Battery : it has a capacity of 1430 mAh, something in which those of Nokia have not done much, because, although it is not a powerful terminal, its autonomy will not be too long.

- Other features: the nokia Lumia 525 presents other applications more or less attributable to the rest of the smartphones on the market such as: calculator, clock, calendar, calendar, task list, synchronization of our contacts with social networks, free download of Acrobat Reader Adobe, Office applications: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, OneNote.

- Availability and price: In Spain we have it available for about 140 - 150 euros free, a very competitive price considering the benefits it presents. It clearly follows the line of the Lumia 520.
