Nokia x: technical characteristics, availability and price

Today a new terminal of the Lumia family lands in Professional Review: the Nokia X. It is a Smartphone of very simple specifications that lands on the market ready to sneak into the heart (or rather pocket) of any user who loves devices rather simple. If you are content with taking a photo from time to time, watching a video and calling or chatting with your friends, this is your phone. Let's start:

- Features

Screen: we could call it super-sensitive, with a size equivalent to 4 inches and WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels). It also features IPS technology, which gives it a wide viewing angle and very vivid colors.

Camera: does not stand out in anything especially. We are talking about a very humble 3 megapixel primary lens, without autofocus or LED flash. Video recording is done in 864 x 480 pixel resolution .

Processor: It features a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 8225 CPU and an Adreno 205 GPU. Its RAM is 512MB. As a novelty for the Lumia, it has Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system.

Design: the nokia X is a rather small terminal, since it has dimensions of 115.5 mm high × 63 mm wide × 10.4 mm thick and weighs 128 grams. The casing is made of polycarbonate, which guarantees durability, gives it a good touch and facilities when it comes to coloring the smartphone. It is available in various colors: bright green, blue, black, yellow, bright red, and white.

Connectivity: it represents very basic connections that we are already used to like 3G, WiFi or Bluetooth.

The battery has a rather discrete capacity, 1500 mAh, but it is not bad at all considering the rest of the specifications and its size.

Internal memory: it has a 4 GB ROM, expandable by micro SD card (4 GB also and included in the terminal pack).

The new Nokia X can be ours for 124 euros if we buy it from the pccomponentes website. We are talking about a very humble terminal in terms of its specifications, with a very competitive price and intended for users who do not seek to make very sophisticated use of their Smartphone.
