We continue talking about graphics cards and this time about the Biostar Radeon RX 580 8GB Dual Cooling that has just been announced to offer mid-range users a new option with all the benefits of Polaris and FreeSync architecture.

Biostar Radeon RX 580 8GB Dual Cooling features

The Biostar Radeon RX 580 8GB Dual Cooling is a semi-custom card that uses an AMD reference PCB along with an advanced heatsink to better handle the heat generated. This heatsink consists of a classic aluminum radiator design with a copper base and two 80mm fans that are responsible for generating the necessary air flow to keep the temperature controlled.

Asus RX 570 Strix Review in Spanish (Complete Review)

The card reaches reference frequencies that translate to 1, 257 MHz / 1, 340 MHz for the core and 8 GHz for the 8 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit interface and a bandwidth of 256 GB / s. As always we find the Polaris 20 core consisting of 2, 304 stream processors, 144 TMUs and 32 ROPs that is powered by an 8-pin auxiliary connector. Includes video outputs in the form of 3 x DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x HDMI 2.0, and 1 x dual-link DVI.

Its price has not been mentioned so we do not know if it is attractive or better to go for another model with a more advanced heatsink with heatpipes and a custom PCB.
