New gigabyte 990xa motherboard

Anonim

When it seemed like we would no longer see any new motherboards for the platform, Gigabyte has released its new 990XA-UD3 R5 motherboard with the outdated socket AM3 + and an ATX form factor.

The new Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 R5 motherboard is powered by a 24-pin ATX connector and another 8-pin EPS connector to supply power to your 10-phase VRM from which the microprocessor is powered. Importantly, the new board doesn't support AMD's most powerful processors, the FX-9000 series, something that will disappoint many fans of the brand.

The Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 R5 is based on the AMD 990X chipset and the AMD SB950 southbridge supporting the two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots that support Nvidia SLI and AMD Crossfire technologies. We also found a third PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot with x4 electrical operation, two PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and a PCI port.

The board specs are rounded out by six SATA III 6Gb / s ports, Realtek ALC1150 CODEC audio with separate PCB section and headphone amplifier up to 600 Ω, Realtek signed Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, two USB 3.0 ports on the rear panel and two internal USB 3.0 headers, a PS / 2 connector for mouse and keyboard, and a UEFI BIOS with support for SecureBoot and FastBoot.

It will arrive with an approximate price of 130 euros.
