QNAP Systems, Inc. today launched its new TS-x31P NAS series, which includes the TS-131P, TS-231P, and TS-431P models. Equipped with an Annapurna Labs processor, Amazon's Alpine AL-212 dual-core 1.7GHz, this series offers a high-performance NAS solution that allows you to create a private, secure and personalized cloud for both homes, small offices and home offices and Work groups. In addition to providing the basic functions of network storage, data backup and shared file access, the TS-x31P series offers multiple value-added cloud-based applications such as digital memo management, centralized account management for email, address book management, and abundant multimedia applications.

New QNAP Home and SoHo NAS Series - TS-x31P

With the addition of a low-power 1.7GHz dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A15 processor and 1GB of DDR3 RAM, the TS-x31P series supports 6Gb / s SATA hard drives and SSDs and provides a High-speed data and excellent performance when running multiple tasks with a data throughput of up to 225MB / s. It also comes with a hardware encryption engine that provides transfer rates of over 180MB / s with full-volume encryption of the NAS in 256-bit AES *.

The multi-functional TS-x31P series offers a large number of applications that help the user get the most out of the NAS, including QmailAgent that allows multiple email accounts to be centrally managed; Qcontactz for the centralization of contact books; Notes Station that allows users to create digital notes in their private cloud and share them with friends and coworkers; Container Station that integrates LXC and Docker® lightweight virtualization technologies to run unlimited containerized applications; and Qsync that facilitates file synchronization between devices, allowing users to access the most up-to-date versions of files stored on the NAS from different devices.

In the home entertainment arena, the series supports DLNA, AirPlay, and Chromecast ™ so users can easily play HD photos and videos stored on the NAS through their compatible SmartTVs, game consoles, and media players, making the TS-x31P series a home media center. It allows you to centrally manage and share photos, music and videos with the Photo Station, Music Station, and Video Station applications, as well as remotely access and manage the files stored in the TS-x31P series with numerous mobile applications offered by QNAP (Qphoto, Qmusic, Qvideo, Qfile, and Qmanager).

Like the rest of the SoHo and Home NAS range, the TS-x31P series is a reliable all-in-one NAS for network data storage, backup, sharing and centralized file management. Offers flexible backup options for Windows® and Mac®, remote real-time replication (RTRR) with version control, rsync and cloud backups (compatible with Amazon® Glacier, Azure ™ Storage, Google Cloud Storage ™, Google Drive ™, Microsoft® OneDrive®, Dropbox®, Amazon® Drive, Yandex® Disk, Box®, and Amazon® S3 / OpenStack Swift / WebDAV cloud storage services), and cross-platform file sharing for Windows®, Mac® and Linux® / UNIX®.

Users can also install Surveillance Station on any of the TS-x31P series models to build a professional network video surveillance solution with 2 channels of free IP cameras (expandable up to 25 channels by purchasing additional licenses).

The App Center built into the NAS OS includes a variety of applications developed by QNAP and third-party developers to further extend the functionality of the NAS.
