The beta version of Android 8.0 Oreo is available to users in the United Kingdom, the United States and South Korea, who will be able to exclusively test the new operating system before it is officially launched for the current line of Galaxy S8 smartphones from Samsung under the Samsung Experience 9.0 user interface.

The second beta of Android Oreo has been deployed by Samsung this weekend in the United Kingdom; Identified with the version number G950FXXU1ZQK4, it brings with it new features and improvements.

As reflected in the detail of the changes, the stability of the Samsung Launcher and Samsung DeX interfaces has been improved, while new themes for the clock have been introduced on the Always On screen.

Now users are also going to be able to adjust the intensity of the transparency of notifications according to their tastes, and Samsung's Smart View feature has been updated to allow the phone screen to turn off when mirroring on TV, something very useful for those who make use of this feature.

Along with these improvements, the South Korean company has also introduced the usual security patch that, in this case, corresponds to the month of October, along with the correction of numerous failures and errors that had been detected during the validity of the first preliminary version of Android Oreo for the Galaxy S8.
