New functions come to pages, numbers and keynote

Probably unknown to many of you, however, for those of us who are Mac users and iOS devices, Pages, Numbers and Keynote are the equivalent of Microsoft's Word, Excel and Powerpoint, with a much more pleasant and simple operation, although with the absence of some functions that do not stop being implemented update after update.

Recently, Apple's office suite, iWork, has received a major update that provides its three applications, Pages, Numbers and Keynote, with interesting news and improvements.

• Export a presentation as a video or as images.

• Change the appearance of charts with rounded corners on columns and bars.

• Add mathematical equations with LaTeX or MathML notations.

• Enhance documents with a variety of new editable shapes.

• Add gradients and image fills to shapes and text boxes.

• Improved compatibility for Arabic and Hebrew.

As for Mac, now Pages, Numbers and Keynote allow you to add "mathematical equations with LaTeX or MathML notations", change "the appearance of graphs with rounded corners in columns and bars".

More specifically, Keynote improves its compatibility with Microsoft PowerPoint, while Numbers does the same with respect to Microsoft Excel.

On the other hand, Pages has obtained support for the control of changes in the text of the figures and of the text boxes, and the capacity for "colors and images in the background of page layout documents".

All Apple iWork applications are completely free for both Mac and iPhone and iPad, in addition to having a web version through the icloud.com website.
