G.Skill has announced the launch of a new G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 memory kit characterized by achieving a very low operating latency for the frequency in which they are presented, something that will help users to get the most out of it of its advanced processors.

G.Skill Trident Z reaches 4266 MHz with CL17 latency

The new G.Skill Trident Z memories come available at frequencies that start from 4000 MHz to 4266 MHz, in both cases with latencies respectively of CL17-17-17-37 and CL17-18-18-38. These are quad chanel kits with a capacity of 32 GB and, therefore, consist of four 8 GB modules.

DRAM Reports: They continue to rise in price in 2017

It is the first time that DDR4 memory has been able to reach an operating frequency higher than 4000 MHz with a CL17 latency, this is very important since it allows us to offer higher performance than would be achieved with the same higher frequencies and latencies. To achieve this feat, the best hand-selected Samsung B memory chips have been used in its manufacture.

The validation of these new G.Skill Trident Z has been done with an Intel Core i7 8700K processor along with an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO motherboard. They will be available to buy from the main distributors from January 2018.
