FSP wants to continue being one of the best manufacturers of power supplies in the world and for this it has announced the new FSP Hydro GE series with a 100% modular design and certified 80 Plus Gold within the mid-range.
New FSP Hydro GE power supplies
The new FSP Hydro GE power supplies come in three versions with a maximum output power of 450W, 550W and 650W to suit the needs and possibilities of all users. All of them are based on a totally modular design that allows a much cleaner assembly of cables to avoid damaging the air flow inside the equipment, with this it is demonstrated that this feature does not have to be exclusive to the most powerful sources, just like Its 80 Plus Gold certificate ensures an energy efficiency of 92%.
Cooling is provided by a 135mm fan that is responsible for generating the air flow necessary to keep all components of these power supplies cool. The FSP Hydro GE are based on a single + 12V rail design with a maximum current of 37.5 A, 45.84 A, and 54.16 A for the three models respectively. All of them have a 5-year guarantee and come with the main electrical protections to avoid disasters.
The FSP Hydro GE has the peculiarity that the design of the side can be changed by adding dragons or trivals to improve the aesthetics of the whole system, an addition that will be interesting for some. Prices have not been announced.
