Acer Chromebook Spin 15, all about the new oversized convertible

The new Acer Chromebook Spin 15 equipment mounts a 15.6-inch screen with a hinge that allows it to be opened up to 360º, with which we are talking about a convertible that offers multiple possibilities of use. To this is added a long-lasting battery, capable of sustaining the equipment running for up to 14 hours, which means almost two full days of 8 hours each.

The screen has IPS technology and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels to offer the best image quality in all usage scenarios. It is a touch screen with up to 10 recognition points simultaneously, with this there will be no limits in the most demanding games and applications. Corning Gorilla Glass laminate offers the best protection to keep it looking like new for a long time.

Inside it is a very efficient hardware configuration, led by the Pentium N4200 and Celeron N3350 processors with four and two cores respectively. Next to the processor are 4-8 GB of LPDDR4 memory and 32-64 GB of high-speed eMMC storage.

The features of the Acer Chromebook Spin 15 are completed with 2 × 2 Wi-Fi MIMO 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, an Acer 720p HD high dynamic range (HDR) webcam, two USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 ports, two ports USB 3.0 and a MicroSD card reader.

Acer Chromebook Spin 15 will be available in June starting at € 449. There will be a cheaper version without the 360º hinges from € 399.
