New high performance heatsink scythe choten with a height of only 120 mm
Table of contents:
Scythe Choten is a new heatsink that has been designed to offer very high performance, maintaining a height of only 120 mm, which makes it compatible with a large number of chassis.
New low-profile heatsink Scythe Choten
The new Scythe Choten heatsink is committed to a low-profile design to reduce its height as much as possible without sacrificing performance, so the dimensions are 130 x 120 x 130 mm. This heatsink mounts no less than six nickel-plated copper heatpipes with a thickness of 6 mm, these are attached to an aluminum fin radiator that is arranged perpendicular to the motherboard. The advantage of this design, in addition to its low height, is that it creates an air flow over some of the most critical components, such as the VRM voltage regulator.

A Kaze Flex 120 mm fan with PWM functionality is placed on top of the radiator, which allows regulating the speed of rotation automatically according to the temperature and between 300 RPM and 1200 RPM, in this way, the best possible compromise between silence and cooling capacity. This fan is capable of generating a maximum airflow of 51.17 CFM, with a noise of just 24.9 dBA. Scythe has placed anti-vibration rubber pads, to avoid as much as possible the noise generated by the fan in its operation.
Scythe Choten is compatible with the Intel LGA115X, LGA1366, LGA775 and AMD AMX (+), FMX (+) platforms, it goes on sale for a price of 35 euros.
