The new Asus ProArt PA27AC is a 27-inch monitor that is equipped with an IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, this panel has the capacity to reproduce 100% of the colors of the sRGB spectrum with a color depth of 8 bits making it a fairly good quality panel, at least on paper. The characteristics of this panel continue with a maximum brightness of 400 nits, which is one of the most important requirements to be compatible with displayHDR 400.

Best monitors of the moment for PC (2017)

We continue to see panel features with a 60Hz refresh rate and dynamic contrast technology, to help us better see enemies in the dark. Its response time is 5 ms, so it is the usual for an IPS panel. As for the video inputs we find DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 with one port each.

Its DisplayPort 1.2a works with a USB Type-C interface and supports AMD FreeSync and Thunderbolt 3 technologies making it a state-of-the-art monitor. Price has not been announced.
