New rog orion, orion pro and echelon headphones

ASUS ROG presents the new Orion, Echelon and Orion Pro headphones, some models that together with the Vulcan PRO, the first to include active cancellation for gaming, complete the references of available headphones from the Taiwanese brand. These three models incorporate a similar chassis design and a set of specific functions for different usage scenarios. These are headphones to enjoy the sound of games as created.

After extensive testing and consultation with the gaming community, the ROG team decided that comfort was one of the key factors for dedicated gaming headsets. For this reason, the new Echelon, Orion and Orion PRO incorporate very comfortable 100mm pads that completely cover the ear. At the sound level, neodymium speakers with a diameter of 50 mm ensure faithful reproduction of the entire frequency range.

Sound quality and comfort

The ROG team produced various prototypes to reduce weight and create a design with ergonomics capable of making players forget that they are wearing headphones. Combining 100mm breathable ear pads with 50mm speaker pressure allows you to enjoy 30 dBs of passive isolation for treble and bass frequencies, a figure that's ideal for staying focused on LAN parties and other stages with a high ambient noise level. These headphones also offer improved reproduction of enemy positioning, explosions, gunshots, and the rest of the tracks included in the original soundtrack . The new models also feature a 2.5m cable with a very strong braided sheath.

Retractable microphone and accessory to keep the cable collected

Based on the opinions of the gamer community, the three new models incorporate a retractable microphone that allows very flexible positioning and the possibility of storing it when it is not being used. In addition, the new technology for filtering ambient noise ensures clearer communications between colleagues and enemies. ASUS ROG has also included an accessory to keep the headphone cable collected and prevent it from being damaged.

ROG Spitfire USB Audio Processor *

The ROG Orion PRO have the ROG Spitfire USB processor, a hardware technology that, without requiring the installation of drivers, is ideal for LAN parties and professional events where gamers are not allowed to perform any type of installation on the computer.

The FPS EQ mode has been developed by analyzing the sound of the main shooter games. ROG engineers have implemented advanced algorithms in the hardware that improve equalization, highlighting the presence of details such as the movements of your enemies, shots, calls, etc.

Virtual 7.1 surround mode offers distortion-free, surround sound for gaming. Its design optimizes the reproduction of surround sounds that have not been specifically designed for games, resulting in a more natural and balanced experience.

The ROG Spitfire's built-in headphone amp mode enhances the rendering of gaming detail and has been specifically designed to complement the tone of the ROG series headphones.
