New be quiet! power cable, sleeved cables for your sources

Be Quiet !, German brand of hardware, has presented its new generation of cables for power supplies. This is its "Power Cable" range that offers options for those who lose modular cables or want an aesthetic improvement for their PC.

Previously, the brand only offered various types of extension for SATA and Molex cables, leaving out the most important ATX, CPU and PCIe connectors. With this new generation, the wiring mesh is improved as we will see in the photos, and a large number of options are added for those who want to sleeving in their source be quiet !.

The improvement in question is to stop using heat shrink tubing at the junction between the cable and the connector pins, as we see in the image on the left, corresponding to the old cables. The renovation offers aesthetic improvements and catches up with the latest trends in modding that go by not using these tubes, called in English "heatshrink".

The new cables will be compatible with all current models of the brand that use semi-modular or 100% modular cabling. Specifically, they can be used with sources Dark Power Pro 10 and later, Straight Power 10, 11 and later, Power Zone, Pure Power 9, 10 and later, and SFX L Power.

These cables are already available for purchase at least in Germany, at prices between € 3 and € 20 depending on the cable. We leave you below a list of available combinations and their current price in German stores.

A kit of cables for normal equipment could cost around 60 euros, that is, the same as kits from other brands such as Corsair, and twice as much as just buying extensions. So, it is up to the user whether to settle for extension cords, to buy kits of this type or to opt for sources with standard sleeving.
