We continue to review the new products that have been announced on the occasion of CES 2018 in Las Vegas, this time we look at Be Quiet !, which has shown its new Be Quiet heatsinks Dark Rock Pro 4 and Dark Rock 4 for users more demanding.

New Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 and Dark Rock 4 heatsinks

First of all, we have the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 which is the new top of the range sink from the German company. As it could not be otherwise, it is based on a double tower radiator design formed by a multitude of aluminum fins, these have the function of maximizing the heat exchange surface to increase its dissipation capacity.

This radiator is attached to a base using seven 6mm thick copper heatpipes, these are manufactured using high quality electrolytic copper that maximizes heat transmission from the processor's IHS to the radiator aluminum. The set is completed with two 120mm SilentWings 3 fans that are included as standard for a push-pull configuration. It has the capacity to handle processors with a maximum TDP of 250W.

Secondly, we have the Be Quiet Dark Rock 4 that bets on a single tower design, much easier since we are dealing with a product from a lower range. In this case, the heatpipes are reduced to six, although it maintains its size of 6 mm, so it remains a very powerful heatsink, capable of handling heat loads of up to 200W. It is accompanied by a 135mm SilentWings fan.

Both models come with a ceramic coating that improves the heat dissipation capacity, no details have been given on their prices, so it will be important to pay attention in the coming days.
