LG claims that both LCD screens can display 1.07 billion colors while covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. There is ULMB support for the LG UltraGear 34GK950G-B monitor, and similar technology for LG UltraGear 34GK950F-B, this is LG's proprietary DAS (Dynamic Action Sync), which follows TV game mode to cut off post-processing of images to reduce delay. They also offer brightness presets for various types of gaming, and black stabilization technology.

Both monitors feature video inputs in the form of 1 x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI (LG UltraGear 34GK950F-B includes 2x HDMI), a dual / triple port USB 3.0 hub, 1 audio input, and 1 headphone output. As for aesthetics, the LG UltraGear 34GK950F-B features red lighting on the back of the case, while the LG UltraGear 34GK950G-B includes lighting with six color settings for the ring on the back.
