Acer today unveiled a new series of 4K devices at its press event, next @ acer, in New York. The offering includes the new H7850 and V7850 4K home theater projectors, as well as the new ProSigner ™ PE320QK 4K LED monitor for creative professionals. 4K projectors incorporate ultra high definition (UHD), HDR and Rec. 2020 and AcuMotion technology, to deliver exceptional value and performance to audio and video lovers. The new ProDesigner PE320QK monitor incorporates Acer HDR Xpert technology for exceptional contrast, includes USB Type-C ports, and features an attractive ZeroFrame design to appeal to design professionals.

Dive into the 4K experience

As Acer's H7850 and V7850 projectors begin to deliver sharp images on screens up to 120 inches, users experience the impressive image quality 4K resolution delivers, up close and personal. With over 8.3 million pixels on the screen, both the H7850 and V7850 are powered by TI XPR technology, ensuring that every image detail comes to life. With the recent expansion of streaming video services, 4K premium content is more accessible than ever. These projectors allow users to enjoy the experience of ultra high definition on the big screen without going to the movies.

HDR Compatible for Unlimited Realism

Both Acer H7850 and Acer V7850 support HDR (High Dynamic Range), which reproduces a greater dynamic range of brightness with extensive contrast and a wider range of brightness. The projectors automatically adjust to the brightest scenes, making reflections stand out in great detail; while in darker scenes they retain all the richness of black tones and enhance the details that are usually hidden in the shadows for greater overall luminosity. Both projectors deliver DynamicBlack ™ contrast up to 1, 000, 000: 1 ratio thanks to frame-by-frame analysis and dynamic lamp power adjustments for black level optimization.

To provide broader user customization features, the Acer H7850 has a brightness advantage thanks to its 3, 000 lumens brightness. Acer V7850 includes an RGBRGB color roulette that helps produce a wider range of tones, and supports the Rec. 709 standard to reproduce exactly the same original colors and hues, while staying true to the filmmaker's intentions. Both models are compatible with the Rec. 2020 standard and the UHDTV standard. Acer H7850 also features a sleek and simple industrial design that was awarded a 2017 Red Dot Award in the Product Design category.

Smooth Actions with AcuMotion

The H7850 and V7850 projectors are also compatible with Acer's AcuMotion technology, which improves image clarity in fast-moving scenes and reduces blur. This software generates intermediate frames and inserts them between existing ones, which prevents unwanted jumps: perfect for video games or action movies. Both projectors include Acer's ExtremeECO power saving feature, which can reduce power consumption by 70% and extend lamp life by up to 15, 000 hours.

ProDesigner ™ PE320QK Monitor for Content Creators

Acer's new ProDesigner PE320QK monitor features 4K high-definition resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) to project high-quality images in stunning detail. Photographers, video editors, and other professionals in the creative industries will appreciate the monitors' HDR Xpert ™ technology, which enhances their brightness for vivid contrast between light and dark, covering a wider color gamut. ZeroFrame's elegant monitor designs remove the bezel from the screen for a seamless viewing experience, with the added benefit of adding a touch of modernity in the office. It includes a reversible USB-C port to easily connect and charge all kinds of devices and reduce desktop clutter, supporting powers of up to 85W.
