The new Toshiba SG5 SSDs come with 15nm NAND technology from the Japanese firm and storage capacities of 128, 256, 512 GB and 1 TB to adapt to the needs of all users.
Toshiba SG5 specifications
The new Toshiba SG5 SSDs will be available in SATA III and M.2 formats. Using the 15nm NAND TLC in conjunction with an unknown controller enables them to achieve sequential read and write rates of 545 MB / s and 388 MB / s respectively.
The 2.5-inch SATA III version will be available in all the aforementioned capacities while there will be a double-sided M.2 version available only in 1 TB version and a standard M.2 drive available in 128, 256 and 512 GB.
Prices have not been announced.
