A big leak of the next generation of Nvidia graphics cards (probably called Ampere) has just come out of Geekbench. Not one, but two separate GPUs have been evaluated showing what are possibly two graphics cards in the next line of Nvidia Ampere.

Nvidia Ampere would be 40% faster than RTX Titan

The first GPU has a quantity of 7552 CUDA cores and 118 SMs. Based on Geekbench's performance and reading it would mean that the rumored 128-core SM theory is wrong and that GPUs do have all 64 cores per standard SM. This particular GPU was identified at a frequency of 1.11 GHz, which would make it a piece of 16.7 TFLOPs at current speeds. Of course, if these leaks are legitimate, then this is not the 'flagship' model, which would have 8, 192 CUDA cores. This GPU has 24 GB of memory (although we are not sure if Geekbench detects it correctly).

This particular NVIDIA GPU has a staggering 184, 096 Geekbench score, almost 40% more than TITAN's RTX. Please note that these are almost certainly not the final clocks on the graphics card - which would mean that the potential for overclocking is waiting around the corner.

The second GPU tested and identified has 6912 CUDA cores and 108 SMs. This lower powered variant is running at 1.01 GHz and running at about 13.9 TFLOP (roughly the same level as an RTX 2080 Ti). Interestingly this card is shown with 47GB of memory, which makes it likely that we are seeing a Geekbench read error. The 6912 CUDA core variant scores 141, 654 points on Geekbench, slightly higher than a TITAN RTX.

The specs shown in the details of the Geekbench are checked, so the chances of this being faked are pretty low. We will keep you informed.
