With the launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 20XX graphics card series, game developers have two new technologies at their disposal through DLSS and Ray Tracing. There are not many games that support DLSS yet, but one of them will add it soon and it is Monster hunter World.
Nvidia DLSS will improve Monster Hunter performance at high resolutions
Nvidia ensures that its DLSS technology applied to Monster Hunter World, can improve performance by up to 50%. The technology will be applied through an update to be released next week.
We must point out that Monster Hunter World can be a very demanding game. As such, if this update can really improve frames per second by 50%, then RTX 20 users should notice a huge improvement in the game.
Nvidia has even gone as far as to say that, with the game at maximum graphics settings, with the high resolution texture pack installed, you can achieve 60 frames per second. Something that, to date, has proven to be very difficult in most systems.

Monster Hunter World will have a notable advantage over previous DLSS games. A sharpening slider has now been added. This will allow us to make the image sharper or softer depending on the aspect that we like the most. It remains to be seen if this feature will be extended to other games with DLSS.
Very soon Monster Hunter World would receive a huge expansion called Iceborne, which is due for release on September 6. Unfortunately, the expansion will come out on next-gen consoles first, with the PC remaining on an undetermined date. This had already happened when the base game was released, first on consoles and then on PC.
