Nvidia is denounced by xperi corp for patent infringement

Problems for Nvidia. Two companies within the Xperi Corp group, which are Invensas Corporation and Tessera Advanced Technologies, have announced their intention to take legal action against the company. The reason for this complaint, as it has already been known, is the infringement of patents. This process will begin in America, since said complaint has been filed in the Delaware Court.

A total of five patents were allegedly infringed, they allege in this lawsuit. These are patents that have been used later on the graphics cards of the American giant.

The companies have issued a statement discussing this lawsuit they are filing against Nvidia. As they have commented, they believe that the company has been using its semiconductor technology patent on some of its CPUs and processors. For years they have been in contact with them, so that they would have a license for said patent.

Although these attempts have not reached a good port. So they have not been licensed, which is why these companies are forced to file the lawsuit in question. Since they seek to defend their intellectual property rights.

Nvidia has not made any statement to this effect. Although it is clear that the company faces a major problem. We will see if both parties finally reach an agreement or if the company will have to go through a trial, which can cost millions.
