Nvidia GeForce RTX will be the architecture of choice for more than 40 gaming notebook models to power the graphics core of the brand's leading models. So says another cool news from Nvidia in an official statement at CES 2019. Sweet days are coming for the California-based guys.

Nvidia announced today that more than 40 models from leading gaming notebook manufacturers are to assemble the new Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards from the new Turing architecture. These are record figures on the part of the brand, and reflect the resounding success that this new stage has had for the brand.
The approach to the new generation of games and virtual reality is much closer with these graphics cards, fundamentally designed for ray tracing processing in real time, VR and artificial intelligence. Of course, the main manufacturers of gaming laptops have had no doubts about which manufacturer to use for their new and ambitious creations. More than 40 models that exceed the figure of 100 different configurations will see the light with these new graphics cards in their guts.
Ultrabooks and high-performance stations will mount from RTX 2080 to 2060
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says that up to 17 are the Max-Q designed models that have opted for Turing technology to power ultrathin equipment no more than 20mm thick with 144Hz displays. One of the best that this architecture implements is the ability to get 50% more performance with these cards using a TDP similar to the previous generation. This will allow these new laptops to extend the autonomy of the computers that gain in performance.
These teams, according to the brand, will get twice the performance of a PS4 Pro, and that, thanks to Nivida Optimus technology, they will extend the battery life incredibly. We will see when the first ones come to light, we hope that it does not remain only in noise.
Packages and availability of these equipments
As we anticipated in a previous news, the teams that mount an Nvidia RTX on their board, will be available to users for a limited time with a free copy, either of Anthem or Battlefield V. Of course this will be so for all the teams that mount the complete range of RTX chips of the brand, 2060, 2070 and 2080.
The first laptops to go on the market will be available from January 29, where the main manufacturers will meet: Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, MSI, Make, Alienware, HP, Lenovo Legion, Razer and Samung.
