Nvidia releases the geforce 375.86 whql drivers not hassle-free

Nvidia has released its new GeForce 375.86 WHQL drivers from the Game Ready series that arrive to offer support and optimizations for the latest video games that have been released to the market such as Tom Clancy's The Division Survival DLC, Battlefield 1, Steep: Open Beta and Civilization VI. These new drivers also include SLI profiles for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
GeForce 375.86 WHQL are released and problems appear
These new GeForce 375.86 WHQL drivers do not come smoothly as some users have already experienced various bugs and problems. Some players have seen how the framerate of some games has been cut in half and even the GPU clock sees its operating frequency drop causing instability and flickering. The latter seems to be limited to graphics cards with Pascal architecture.

Nvidia has already confirmed that it is aware of the problem and is working to offer all its users a solution to the problem as soon as possible. It is expected that a new hotfix or WHQL version will be released in the next few days.
