In recent days there has been talk of Nvidia Turing, a new graphics chip that is being developed by the graphics giant, at first it was assumed that it was a silicon for gaming, but eventually it will not.

Nvidia Turing will finally be a new graphics chip optimized for cryptocurrency mining, its development is being thought to be compact, efficient and scalable in large user mining systems. With this chip, Nvidia intends to save the gaming ecosystem, the company has previously expressed its displeasure at the situation that miners run out of store cards and players cannot access them.

Nvidia Turing- based cards could come without video outputs and with simpler and cheaper heatsinks, as the cards don't get as hot by mining as by playing. There may also be cutbacks in the PCI Express lanes as high bandwidth is not required for mining operations. At the moment it is not known whether Turing will be based on Pascal or Volta.

If this is confirmed, we could be at the end of a situation in which it is almost impossible to buy a graphics card, and the few that exist are at exorbitant prices.
