Netherlands could prevent Huawei from working on 5G in the country

Since Groenlinks, one of the opposition parties, has asked the government to take action. Therefore, they ask that they prevent the Chinese company from taking part in this deployment.

Huawei still in trouble

According to the party leader, the risk of Huawei working on the deployment of 5G in the country is too high. While the espionage charges have so far been unproven, there are some ongoing investigations. In addition, that other countries in Europe are also making similar decisions is something that has influence. Therefore, alternatives are preferred.

Depending on the party, options like Nokia or Ericsson could be a better alternative in the deployment of 5G. Two European companies, which have been commissioned for their deployment in Finland, one of the most advanced in this field.
