Palit launches a new series of gaming products called "White GameRock Premium". The first product will be the RTX 2080 Super graphics card with RGB LEDs and custom cooling.

RTX 2080 Super White GameRock Premium is Palit's brand new graphics card

The RTX 2080 Super White GameRock Premium (or WGRP for short) operates at a frequency of 1650MHz and a boost clock of 1860MHz. The 2080 SUPER WGRP has two BIOS settings to adjust these speeds. One of them is a standard BIOS, while the other is for OC configuration.

In terms of display output, this card has three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.0b port. Also, a USB Type-C port, which is becoming the new and convenient connectivity standard for the latest graphics cards we're seeing.

What type of cooling system does the Palit WGRP use?

To ensure adequate cooling, the Palit RTX 2080 Super WGRP uses five copper heatpipes in its heatsink. The graphics card occupies almost three slots in thickness.

This heatsink is actively cooled by two TurboFan 2.0 fans. These are smaller in size than typical 4-pole motor fans, making the fan blades larger. It also consumes less power and rotates smoother and longer than other fan designs.

Underneath the refrigerator is a 10 + 2-phase DrMOS PWM PWM. This provides a large amount of power for the GPU in overclocking and is much more efficient than the reference power schemes.

The GeForce RTX 2080 Super WGRP has RGB LEDs, both on the cover and on the back plate. The Game Rock logo also lights up on the side, although the fan itself does not light up.
