5.5 inch 4k smartphone screens on the way
It seems that one of the fashions in the smartphone market is to install increasingly larger screens with higher resolution, if you think that the current screens do not have enough image definition, you will be happy to know that the Japanese Sharp works on screens of 5, 5 inches with 4K resolution for smartphones.
Probably the new 5-inch Sharp panels with a 4, 096 x 2, 160 pixel resolution will arrive in 2016 and will become the new standard, at least in higher-end devices. They will offer a pixel density of 842 ppi, a figure that we believe is quite exaggerated and that will increase the energy consumption of our terminals to a good extent.
