Patriot is expanding its Viper line with the launch of the Viper V765 'gamer' mechanical keyboard. It is an RGB mechanical gaming keyboard built with an aircraft grade aluminum chassis.
Patriot Viper V765 RGB arrives with new Kailh keys
Patriot V765 the first keyboard incorporating Kailh's latest white key technology. These are similar to the Cherry MX 'switches', but with reinforcements around the keys. Patriot will offer the variants with red, white, black and brown switches.
In addition to the durability of the aluminum chassis, the keyboard has IP65-certified dust and water protection. This makes it stronger and more durable than most mechanical keyboards on the market right now.
Like all gaming keyboards today, the Viper V765 also features RGB LEDs for backlighting. Users will be able to customize these lights through Viper software, and even set individual lights for each key and change presets.
It's not about aesthetics either, as it also comes with an N-key rollover via USB, dedicated volume wheel, and classic multimedia keys. In addition, it has a removable magnetic palm rest so that players can play for long periods of time, if these are uncomfortable, it can be easily disassembled.
