Pc classic, a mini

Bringing back classic video game consoles has been in vogue lately, happening with the Nintendo NES Mini, SNES Mini, or the recent PlayStation Classic. Now the PC market has its own device that recalls the classics, PC Classic.

PC Classic to come with 30 games from the '80s era

The idea came from Unit-E Technologies, which announced the arrival of PC Classic, a small computer that can run DOS games.

As its name suggests, the PC Classic is a DOS miniature game console. Designed with the same chassis and beige color as the 80s era. The system has three USB ports and an SD card slot, as well as HDMI and composite video output connections.

The SD card slot, which is designed to look like a floppy drive, is functional. Eric Yockey, founder of Unit-E, said that all games will be licensed and legal as you will have physical copies of them (on SD cards).

The team will come with at least 30 games, they tell us, and more will be available to purchase separately. Unfortunately, the company does not yet have a list of confirmed titles, but it is possible to sign up by mail to be notified when it becomes available.

Unit-E's goal is to ship the PC Classic with at least one gamepad. It will be compatible with other controllers, as well as keyboards and mice, as appropriate. The possibility of shipping with a mini keyboard and mouse has not been ruled out, the company said, this is not confirmed.

The PC Classic is expected to start its presale in late November at a price of around $ 99. Hopefully it will ship in late spring or early summer 2019.
