Pebble announces its new pebble 2 and pebble 2 se smartwatch

The Pebble smartwatch has been one of the most successful for offering unattainable autonomy for the rest of the solutions on the market thanks to its screen based on electronic ink. We finally meet their successors with the announcement of the Pebble 2 and Pebble 2 SE looking to set the bar even higher.

Pebble 2: features, availability and price

First of all we have the Pebble 2 which is the most advanced model of the two announced. This new smartwatch continues betting on an ePaper screen (electronic ink) that is capable of offering 7 days of autonomy in a thickness of only 22 mm. We highlight its resistance to water since it can be submerged to a maximum depth of 30 meters without being damaged.

The most important novelty is the inclusion of a cardiac sensor that will be able to monitor our movements and monitor our sleep. It is compatible with Google Fit and Apple Health applications for Android and iOS operating systems respectively. Finally we highlight the inclusion of a microphone.

In second place is the Pebble 2 SE that maintains the same characteristics as the previous model except for the elimination of the heart sensor in order to offer a cheaper product for those users who are not going to benefit from it. If we talk about prices the Pebble 2 goes on sale in 5 different colors at a price of $ 130, as for the SE model comes out in black in December for a lower price of $ 100.
