Plantronics Announces New Rig 500 Pro Gaming Headset Series

Plantronics today announced the RIG 500 PRO series of gaming headsets, created to deliver high-fidelity audio in an ultralight design, what everyone is looking for in a headset.

The RIG 500 PRO Series headphones are the first gaming headphones to incorporate an exoskeleton design with isolated internal acoustic chambers to reduce distortion, creating the ideal audio solution for gaming platforms, especially in the competitive arena.

Premium 50mm speakers offer a wide-range frequency response, while dual-material pads provide the combination of noise reduction and comfort gamers need for long, focused sessions. Additionally, the officially licensed editions of Xbox and PlayStation come with the Game Audio Dial RIG and a 3.5mm jack with integrated volume control for wireless game controllers. Console players can now adjust the volume directly from the controller without having to raise their hands. PC models have an inline volume slider.
