Pny cs1311b new ssd with writes of 510 mb / s

PNY continues to announce new storage devices for the entry range. Specifically, it has launched the PNY CS1311B series with capacities of 128 and 256 GB respectively.

In principle, it will come in two models, one of 120 and the other of 240 GB although they have not confirmed it, we suspect that it is a controller is a Phison S10 or Phsion S11 single-core. What if it is confirmed that it used Micron-signed 3D NAND memory in its 2.5-inch formats.

For the 120 GB model we will have 510 MB / s of sequential reading, while for sequential writing 410 MB / s. The 4K random read will be 42, 000 IOPS and 82, 000 IOPS in writing.

The 256GB model will have sequential read and write of 560MB / s and 510MB / s. While 80, 000 IOPS and 81, 000 IOPS in 4K random write operations.

Pricing has yet to be confirmed but we are sure to find it among the cheapest solid state storage drives on the market.
