Continuing with the new AMD Radeon R9 290X cards with 8GB of VRAM we find the model of the PowerColor assembler that has announced its PowerColor Radeon R9 290X PCS +.
The new PowerColor Radeon R9 290X PCS + card arrives with the manufacturer's characteristic PCS + cooling system and which consists of a dense aluminum radiator that is crossed by a total of five copper heatpipes that are responsible for distributing the heat, the complete set of with the inclusion of three 90mm fans. The PowerColor heatsink promises 24% lower temperatures than the reference model and 17% lower loudness. The set is completed with a rear backplate.
The card features the AMD Hawaii XT GPU consisting of a total of 44 CUs totaling 2816 Shader Processors, 174 TMUs and 64 ROPs, all under a 28nm manufacturing process. Accompanying the GPU we find 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM at a frequency of 5, 500 MHz attached to one 512 bit interface which makes it a card specially prepared for very high resolutions.
