2019 hardware awards for professional review?

After a series of catastrophic misfortune, we can finally launch what we consider the best hardware products of this past 2019. All of these components have passed our test bench and deserve to receive our most precious insignia.

Best processor

Here we had no doubts, the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X is the best processor that has been made this year, at least for the home user (let's leave aside the AMD Threadripper). Its 16 physical cores, 32 threads of execution at a base frequency of 3.5 GHz, turbo up to 4.7 GHz, Zen2 architecture, 64 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 105W.

Best Gaming Processor

If we try to find the best quality / price Gaming processor we find the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with its 6 cores, 12 threads, 3.8 GHz base frequency and that with turbo goes up to 4.4 GHz, 32 MB of L3 cache and 95 W of TDP. It also allows a good overclock on all your cores. It is an outstanding micro. A well-deserved award too!

Best Intel Motherboard

How difficult all manufacturers have made this choice! The Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce has been the most expensive LGA 1151 socket motherboard we've tested, but also the best. Its monstrous liquid cooling block, 16 power phases, RGB lighting and overclocking capacity, has made us opt for it. Good work Gigabyte!

Best AMD motherboard

Similar case to the Intel motherboard. The Asus Crosshair VIII Formula is the one we consider best in this X570 series of the AM4 socket. We have it in one of the multiple AMD test bench that we have, and we know it very well, and we can say that it is wonderful. Its 16 direct feeding phases, without benders, an elegant but at the same time modern design and its great stability are a guarantee seal.

It was also the winner in our temperature tests of the VRM X570. If you have not read this tutorial, we recommend you take a walk, it is very interesting.

Best graphics card

Graphics cards are one of the products we've tried the most. Discarding AMD for not taking any direct competitor in the high-end to Nvidia, we have to opt for the MSI RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio. A graph that both by VRM, components, temperatures and consumption, borders on 10/10.

Better RAM

We haven't had many RAM moves in 2019 and we aren't expected to have many more releases either. The G.Skill Trident Z Neo are ideal memories for the AMD Ryzen platform, they have good chips, it is compatible with almost all AM4 boards and its lighting is magnificent.

Best SSD

NVME PCI Express 4.0 SSD storage drives double the read / write rates of NVME PCI Express 3.0 SSDs. The AORUS NVMe Gen4 competes directly with the Corsair MP600 and we believe that the AORUS wins for its copper heatsink, it is somewhat more expensive, but slightly above.

Best Chassis

Cooler Master sends us few products, but it is true that some are of the highest quality. In this case, the Cooler Master SL600M is one of the best chassis you can buy. Aluminum structure, capacity for liquid cooling or conventional heatsink, possibility of installing a graphics card vertically and a tempered glass that we have loved. An outstanding PC case.

Better liquid cooling

Corsair gave us a sneak peek at Computex 2019 about this fantastic liquid part cooling: Corsair Hydro X. We were the first to launch their web review, together with Nate Gentile, and the sensations with a soft tube have been fantastic. Your web configurator should take another award, a marvel to configure with your favorite box and your components without error.

Best heatsink

Noctua does not launch many products during the year, but the ones they launch are of the highest quality. It has been widely criticized for its classic aesthetic, and this Noctua NH-D15 Chromax.black is supreme quality, both aesthetically and performance -wise.

Best monitor

Choosing the best monitor was not easy. It has finally won the Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ with its 35-inch 1800R curved screen, 3440 x 1440 resolution at 200 Hz, VA panel, 2ms response time, Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate, and 10-bit color depth. A monitor that if you buy it, is to keep it all your life.

Better keyboard

This was one of the prizes that we had most clearly, the Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition is a TKL type keyboard, with distribution in Spanish, optomechanical switches (what a pass), with USB Type-C connection, PBT keys and an aluminum structure.

Best mouse

Razer has run the batteries in wireless peripherals and the Razer Basilisk Ultimate seems to us the best mouse it has released this year. It is a true past: ergonomic, an incredible sensor, very refined software and that is at the height of the Viper.

Best earphone

Logitech X PRO is the winner. Sound quality, ergonomics and microphone. If you have read our analysis, you will know that we liked it very much and given its price it seems highly recommended.

Best Projector

We haven't tested many 4K projectors, but this is the best we've tested this year. The Viewsonic X10-4K is very top, both in terms of connectivity, image quality and its firmware. Its price is very attractive and it fully deserves this award.

Best power supply

The power supply is one of the most important components of our computer. It will not give you FPS or give you better image quality, but it will take care of giving the correct efficiency (and protecting) to your much loved components. The Corsair AX850 with its 80 Plus Titanium, 850W certification and which passed all our tests with note.

Best chair

We believe the Drift DR111 is the best chair we've tested for both ergonomics, design, and durability. The competition is very large and it has not been easy to choose the one that we consider best this year.

Best laptop for design

The Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED is the best designer laptop of 2019. The OLED screen, finishes and hardware makes you fall in love at first sight. If you want to edit photography or video and take a few games, this is the best laptop you can buy.

Best gaming laptop

Choosing a good GAMING laptop this year has also been a difficult task. The MSI GE65 Raider takes the award for the best and we believe it very deservedly. Design, keyboard and components at a great price. A 100% secure purchase.

Best router

The beast wins the battle: Asus ROG Raptura GT-AX11000. In addition to having the best SOC, it has a 2.5 Gbp / s RJ45 connection and firmware optimized for maximum gaming. A well deserved award.

Best NAS

And last but not least, we have the QNAP TS-677 NAS with an AMD Ryzen 6-core processor, compatibility with DDR4 ECC / Non-ECC memory, the possibility of installing 4 3.5-inch disks, another two of 2, 5 inches and two M.2 SATA connections. It can also be expanded to support 10 Gigabit connection, dedicated GPU for virtualization or M.2 NVME.
