We have new information regarding the eighth generation Intel Core processors with integrated graphics based on the AMD Vega architecture, specifically, a total of five new models have been revealed, which we are going to see in detail.

The new processors with the Intel Core i7-8809G, Core i7-8709G, Core i7-8706G, Core i7-8705G and Core i5-8305G. As we can see they all have the suffix ā€œGā€ that indicates the presence of powerful integrated graphics based on the AMD Vega architecture.

Intel Core i7-8809G is the new top-of-the-range model of this series, inside it has 4 cores and 8 threads that operate at base and turbo frequencies of 3.1 GHz and 4.2 GHz respectively, also comes with the multiplier unlocked for overclocking.

The most interesting thing is the presence of a Vega M graphics core with 1536 Stream Processors at frequencies of 1063/1190 MHz and accompanied by 4 GB of HBM2 memory with a bandwidth of 204 GB / s, thus being able to offer a maximum power of 3.7 TFLOPs, impressive for an integrated graphics chip.

We go down one step and we come across the Core i7-8709G which sees its characteristics slightly reduced, the CPU section is satisfied with a maximum turbo of 4.1 GHz.

We go back down a range to find the Core i7-8706G whose CPU is identical to the previous one, but the Vega M graphics conform to 1280 Stream Processors at frequencies of 931/1011 MHz, its performance remains at 2.6 TFLOPs that follows being excellent.

Finally we have the Intel Core i5-8305G which is the most modest of all, it still has 4 cores and 8 threads although at frequencies of 2.80 / 3.80 GHz and a GPU also with 1280 Stream Processors.

All these processors also have Intel HD 630 graphics that they will use in tasks that do not require high power, thereby reducing battery consumption.
