The image that you can see on the cover of this article apparently shows the new OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 5, scheduled to be officially presented on June 20, as confirmed by the company this week.

Aside from confirming that all the alleged leaked renders of the OnePlus 5 are false, the new image reveals several interesting things about the upcoming Android terminal.

First press image of the OnePlus 5 shows the dual camera and the design of the new mobile

First of all, it finally confirms the presence of a dual camera on the back of the OnePlus 5. A laser sensor and LED flash also appear to be present on the right side of the camera module. Also, you can also see the switch to silence the mobile and the volume buttons on the left side.

Meanwhile, the power key is present on the right side, while the selfie camera can be seen on the top left of the phone.

The Chinese company has confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will have a Snapdragon 835 processor, although at the moment it is unknown if the RAM will be 6 GB or 8 GB, as several rumors pointed out in the past.

Another interesting detail is that the design of the OnePlus 5 seems very similar to the design of the Oppo R11, a 5.5-inch smartphone that was officially presented last week in China, and which also sports a dual rear camera.

In addition, both OnePlus and Oppo are part of the same BBK Electronics conglomerate, so it is not surprising that both devices have some similarities in their design, although it should be noted that the Oppo R11 is a mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon processor 660, while the OnePlus 5 will be a powerful terminal that will compete with other high-end devices such as the Galaxy S8 or HTC U11.
