The first benchmarks of an Intel Core M CPU have come to light, it is a dual-core processor based on the brand new Broadwell architecture at 14nm with a consumption of only 4.5W, making it ideal for use with tablets, entry-level ultrabooks and desktops.

This is the Intel Core M5Y70 CPU that is based on the new Broadwell architecture and has renewed and highly powered Intel HD graphics with 24 Execution Units for a total of 192 Stream Engines, all accompanied by 4 MB of L3 cache, LPDDR3 controller dual Channel and PCI-Express 3.0.

The Intel Core M 5Y70 was the faces with an intensive multi-thread test such as the Cinebench R11.5 where it yielded a respectable 17 FPS with 2.48 points for the CPU, a high score that beats any Intel Atom, Pentium or AMD E -Series seen to date.

Regarding graphics, 3DMark IceStorm Unlimited achieved 50, 985 points, practically twice as powerful as the GPU integrated in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and faster than any GPU integrated in AMD E-Series APUs.
