After the release of Windows 10 Mobile with its Build 10.581 a bug was quickly discovered which would cause the file system to become partially corrupted after a factory reset. For those of you who have done a factory reset on your phone, you probably didn't notice this issue in Build 10581.

Due to this error, however, the update to compile 10, 586 will cause your phone to go into a bootloop state after the update is complete so when rebooting after reaching the logo of Windows or your service provider it gets frustrated. To get your phone back, you can use a hardware shortcut to reset the phone, thus reaching a quick setup experience (newly purchased product) in Build 10586.

It is recommended that you check that you have made a copy of your phone before updating to Build 10.586 due to this error. Furthermore, you can also recover your phone using Windows Device Recovery Tool to go back to Windows Phone 8.1 and then update to Build 10586.

Known issues in Windows 10:

• Deploying Silverlight apps with Visual Studio to your phone will still not work in this build. This issue will be resolved with the release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 on November 30. You can implement UWP applications on your phone without any problem.

• There is a known issue where the Insider Jay Hub still remains in the apps list but does not open. Insider Hub is not included in this build. There is no way to get it back, unfortunately. However, it will come back soon! Meanwhile, use insider information from PC hubs as a workaround.

As you can see, the main issue concerns users with Build 10.581 and it is highly recommended that you check whether a data backup was made before the upgrade, although in our testing the error was not found while inserting the device in a bootloop state. Also, if you don't know what the key combination to perform the manual full reset, just follow the step by step below:

1. With the volume down key and buttons pressed and held down until you feel a slight vibration.

2. Release the power button and hold the volume down until an exclamation mark appears.

3. Sequentially press (do not hold) the volume up, volume down, volume down, and on buttons.
