QNAP has officially launched myRMA today. It is a service that provides users with appropriate Return Material Authorization (RMA) services based on the warranty status of their products in the event of product failure. Users also have the option to purchase the Company's Extended Warranty Service to extend their product's warranty coverage up to five years.

QNAP Launches myRMA Service for Simple RMA Process

The company has spent time investing in optimizing online services. Users can now access the new Service Portal by logging in to the official QNAP website with their ID.

New service now available

In the event of product damage, users can contact QNAP by creating a support ticket on the Service Portal. Based on the status of the user's product, the company's Customer Service will verify if an RMA is necessary. If the product warranty remains valid, users can receive free repair or replacement services. If the product warranty has ended, myRMA also offers paid repair services. The Customer Service will verify the condition of the product and will provide a repair estimate based on the three levels of damage.

The repair estimate includes the following costs: component replacement, labor, and return shipping. Once the user agrees to the full costs listed in the repair quote and completes online payment, they can send the defective product to a QNAP designated service center for repair. All non-warranty repaired products are offered a free 180-day warranty period, beginning on the date of delivery of the repaired product.

This service can already be used officially as confirmed by the company itself. Good news for users who are interested in using it.
