Qnap releases a version of its qfinder application for chromebook users

QNAP Systems, Inc. today announced the launch of the first Qfinder Chrome app on the market, allowing Chromebook and Chrome users to quickly find and connect to their Turbo NAS in just a few clicks. Qfinder is a free utility available for Windows, Mac, Linux and now Chrome users to quickly find, configure and access the Turbo NAS on a local network.

QNAP Turbo NAS works seamlessly with Chromebooks and offers plenty of private cloud storage capacity that meets the needs of file storage, backup and shared access with unmatched data security. QNAP has also released the new version 5.0 of Qfinder for Windows, adding a smart installation guide to improve the initial boot process and to allow Windows users to directly create storage pools and multiple volumes with Qfinder. In addition to the search function of the Turbo NAS, Qfinder for Windows also supports the upload of multimedia files and the Storage Plug & Connect function. Users can connect directly to a shared folder on the Turbo NAS from their PC, making accessing the data on the Turbo NAS as convenient as using a local drive.
