QNAP today unveiled KoiMeeter, a new smart video conferencing solution for NAS. The comprehensive KoiMeeter application includes wireless presentation, real-time AI transcription and translation, and local storage for video call recordings, making it an inexpensive and perfect video call solution for businesses, SMBs, and studios. Thanks to KoiMeeter, organizations can easily improve communication between multiple sites and streamline the effectiveness of teamwork.

QNAP Introduces KoiMeeter Smart Video Conferencing Solution

The latest version of the KoiMeeter application makes it easy to create a video conferencing system. Users simply install KoiMeeter on a QNAP NAS and connect the NAS to a TV through the HDMI port. Then cameras and microphones are connected to the USB port of the NAS to complete the configuration of the intelligent video conferencing system.

In addition, high-quality video calls between sites will be easier and smoother for users. KoiMeeter includes a wireless presentation feature that allows presenters to share their screen image on a TV via a web browser, eliminating the need for wireless projectors, usb dongles, or additional software applications. Meeting participants can use KoiMeeter's Insight View feature to view presentations on their computers. KoiMeeter also integrates smart AI features, including audio transcription, real-time translation, and AI noise elimination, for clearer, smoother communication. Meeting recordings can be stored directly on KoiMeeter for later use.

The KoiMeeter device can be used with a 180 degree camera and Bluetooth microphones. The current version of KoiMeeter integrates the traditional SIP video conferencing system with other cloud meeting solutions still in development. The high compatibility of the smart video conferencing solution allows business meetings to be easily joined with different calling services. A mobile version of KoiMeeter is being developed and will be unveiled shortly, enabling users to join meetings on their mobile device anytime, anywhere.
