Qnap presents its new nas ts series

QNAP® Systems, Inc. revolutionizes the world of NAS again with the launch of its new TS-x51A series (available in 2- and 4-bay models) that incorporates exclusive QNAP technology - a 'Quick Access' USB port that enables Connect the NAS directly to a PC or Mac for quick and easy access to files. This connection mode offers transfer speeds of 100 MB / s, while the NAS is traditionally networked via Ethernet. This combination of connections allows the new NAS to offer the user optimal performance for backup, remote access, shared access, and much more. The series is especially suited for photographers and videographers looking for a direct access NAS solution for editing and playback of their photos and videos.

QNAP NAS TS-x51A

The two models in the new series - the 2-bay TS-251A and the 4-bay TS-451A - are equipped with 14nm Intel® Celeron® dual-core 1.6 GHz processors (which can go up to 2, 48 GHz) with a low TDP of 6 watts and 2GB / 4GB dual channel DDR3L-1600 RAM (expandable to 8 GB). They also support 4K UHD video transcoding so that users can stream videos in the highest definition on a TV or mobile device in the desired format. The front panel also features an SD card slot, allowing fast import / export of photos and video from a camera to the NAS.
